The Aula Apícola Sierra de Hoyo is a pioneering centre in its field in the Community of Madrid. It is designed to offer visitors activities in the heart of nature. These activities focus on the honeybee, though other nature topics are also covered. They are primarily aimed at groups such as schools, associations, and families. The Aula Apícola is located in a spectacular 260-hectare Natural Reserve in Hoyo de Manzanares.
Our flagship activity is the “Honey Factory,” which includes: A tour along the thematic path to learn about bees, a beekeeper’s lunch, a visit to the educational apiary with protective beekeeper suits, and a beeswax candle-making workshop. The schedule runs from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. Prices available upon request.
